A contact in Uganda sent me this photo a different take on the usual Nile sunset scenes. I wanted to exaggerate the orange and pink glow.

I love the range of color in dark skin from violets and reds, to burnished copper and taupe. I added the colorful parrot which gave me an idea for the paintings name.
